The Central Government appointed UIDAI CEO Ajay Bhushan Pandey as new Secretary Revenue. He will replace Hasmukh Adhia, who will retire on 30 November 2018. He will continue to hold additional charge of CEO of UIDAI and also Chairman of GST Network.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Saturday appointed Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) CEO Ajay Bhushan Pandey as the new revenue secretary. Pandey will succeed current Finance and Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia, who is retiring on November 30.
Pandey, a 1984 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Maharashtra cadre also holds the post of Chairman of Goods and Service Tax Network (GSTN).
